Are you a swimmer who wants to learn how to execute a flip turn? Do your flip turns leave you breathless or with water up your nose? Were you unaware that flip turns improve your efficiency in the water, help you stay more relaxed when swimming and can lead to a faster open water swim? If so, then our Flip Turn Clinic is for you!

What is it? 1 hour Flip Turn Clinic at Regent Park Aquatic Club, starting from 5:55 to 6:55am on Wednesday, Sept 5th. 

The goal of the clinic is to teach you how to flip turn properly. 

This session to include an instructional and in-water component. 

  • We will watch a video and discuss how to do a flip turn properly 
  • We will then go through a series of steps that allow you to slowly progress towards completing a perfect flip turn
Coach:  Miranda Tomenson

Limit: 18 participants (unless there is a GL or another coach present, then more OK)

Minimum Requirements
This clinic is for anyone from beginner to advanced. Swimmers should be able to swim 100m of the pool without stopping. 


Needed: appropriate swim wear, goggles and preferably a swim cap and a water bottle, warm clothes for deck. 

No fins, paddles or pull buoys will be used in this clinic. 

Please plan on arriving early to change.
