Triathlon Ontario strives to provide leadership and governance to develop a safe and fair environment for multisport in Ontario. Being a member of Triathlon Ontario gives you the benefits of being able to qualify for the Canadian National Age Group team, access to NCCP coaches via triathlon clubs, liability and accident insurance at Triathlon Ontario sanctioned races and club workouts and training days, sponsor discounts, a Triathlon Canada magazine subscription, discounts on Triathlon Ontario clinics and seminars, the option to purchase additional bike insurance for Triathlon Ontario sanctioned races and club workouts, and much more.

As a Toronto Triathlon Club member, you already reap the benefits of all the Triathlon Ontario membership perks since you became a Triathlon Ontario member when you joined the TTC. Many athletes who are not part of a club, however, are unaware of the benefits of being a Triathlon Ontario member beyond not having to pay for one-day insurance at sanctioned races.

Enter: the Triathlon Ontario Ambassador Program. This is a brand new program that has been established to spread knowledge of what Triathlon Ontario does, and why it's a great thing to hold a membership. Being part of a triathlon club like the TTC goes hand in hand with those benefits. The Triathlon Ontario Ambassadors are Ontario triathlon club members who will be representing Triathlon Ontario and their own clubs at races throughout the province, spreading the word on why its great to be a member of a club as well as of Triathlon Ontario.

The Toronto Triathlon Club's ambassador for this first year of the new program is Kirsten Hoedlmoser, who is in her second year of membership with the TTC and her 6th season of multisport. Look for her, and other Triathlon Ontario Ambassadors, at local races this summer in the blue Triathlon Ontario polo shirt and white cap. If you have any questions about the ambassador program, get in touch with Kirsten or your TTC board members.
