If you have ever said: “My 10k is the same pace as my Half Marathon pace.” then you need interval training! “I PB’d through 10km in my Marathon” then you need interval training! “I want to run a faster _____(insert distance)” then you need interval training! “I’m looking for new challenges in my training.” then you need interval training!
Join us at weekly interval training sessions at High Park. Interval Training is easy to avoid, but a crucial part of proper training. Interval training increases VO2max, increases running economy, prevents injury, increases hormones required for optimal performance and so on. Basically, if you’re looking to get faster and learn proper race pacing, then get in the group and be ready to have a blast. Thursday night is where it’s at!

Cost: $185 + HST or drop in for $10 per night.

Prerequisite: All levels/abilities are welcome! To avoid injury it is recommended that you have some solid running base already. Multiple runs per week are recommended. If you are injured you should not participate. We will be working the higher tempo and speed paces which is great prep for late spring run races, spring and summer triathlons of all distances and fall run races. Headlamps and bright clothes are recommended.
Minimum participants: 8 (we reserve the right to cancel the program if there isn't enough interest).
