 CLINIC 1: Mobility & Recovery Tools for Triathletes

Join us at Regent Park for a session on Mobility for the Triathlete. Learn what mobility is and why it is an important component to your performance as a triathlete. Learn a full body mobility program; pick and choose what movements will help improve YOUR mobility and learn how to integrate these movements into your training program. Learn how to maximize your training while also minimizing risk of injury by adding these recovery tools post workout, and understand how to develop your own self-treatment strategies.

Please bring your own Yoga Mat if you have one.

Dr. Kris Sheppard is the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of The Runner’s Academy where he practices as a Chiropractor, Contemporary Medical Acupuncture provider, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Having worked with recreational runners through to Olympians, collaborated with sports medicine physicians and surgeons, and worked with numerous international level coaches and elite teams, Dr. Sheppard has a robust diagnostic and treatment repertoire. He has developed a unique approach to improving run technique and building resilience to injury, making him a much sought-after clinician.
